Hydrological Institute "Wilhelm Reich" with Experimental Medium Scale Water Dam

This drawing of the Hydrological Institute "Wilhelm Reich" (alternatively named "Viktor Schauberger" for those with slightly holistic, politically questionable leanings towards "natural" solutions in relation to the "cosmos") was especially difficult to reproduce; as pencil grey on on a dark kind of orange provides for a very unsatisfactory dynamic range, which is also why highlights were added somewhat roughly with pastel and Chinese white. The imaginary institute is situated on a pass inspired by the Tizi-n-Test pass, halfway to the summit of a rocky precipice presumed to be in the Atlas region of Morocco, which should be considered roughly the center of the projected continent of Eufrica (or Afropa, according to some). Below in the valley is a reservoir and dam for water-flow simulations, scale 1/6 in relation to a real world water dam in the planning stage, which is supposed to have an energy loss coefficient of an A+++/excellent 0.2 W/m2-K. Schauberger's teaching of the inner tendencies of an oxidized and healthily dynamic water flow will be observed to the T. The head loss coefficient (T) is calculated as the ratio of the manometric head difference between the input and output of the fitting to the velocity head and will be negative for the enlargement. The loss coefficient for the gate valve may then be calculated by using a rather complicated equation not to be specified here.

"Water flows,
As it wants
To the light.
But -
As people do in politics,
It prefers left to right."

Le Comte Ory / Expectation and Trepidation / The Great God Pan

This image would need no further comment, if the idea of the comment was merely to describe or amplify that what is shown in the image. What is shown lies on a plane where laughter, sighs, and giggles reign. A poem or song would be better suited to accompany this drawing of the salon or bidet variety. "Le Comte Ory", pencil on pink letter paper (A4) The artist feels however inclined to add that the scenery depicted has very little to do with the Comte Ory storyline of Verdi's opera buffa, but is indeed showing members of a dance troupe passing the night in a castle unwillingly offered to them as a shelter for the night by an oddly motivated aristocratic owner, who is torn between his own ingrained hospitality and the knowledge that harm will befall his guests because the castle is also claimed as a hunting ground for young female victims by his vampiric brother, who, being undead, naturally has no legal claim tho the castle, inherited by his surviving brother. Chinese Landscape with Water Flow Research Institute

Chinese Landscape with Water Flow Research Institute, oil on ready-to-use “Stylex” canvas w/ stretcher, 30×40 cm The ancient art of Chinese Landscape Painting aims for an air of universal completeness and peace, materializing the desire for the Chinese Empire to reign eternally and timelessly. A painting is not complete if it does not bring together the hard, the fluid, the gaseous: rock (the mineral world), water, sky (air, fog). Living organisms are either part and fixed outgrowth of the solid, mineral world, i.e plants, lichens, sponges; or transient, animal or human, which are few and far between. Water is the element that flows through the image, from top to bottom, uniting all, making all into one. Never is there harsh light coming from one point, creating light and shadow. Perspective is  of the aerial type, which means things in the distance are lighter in tone, as they reach  through fog, fine mists, wafting between them and the onlooker. While this type of painting i...

Low Density Dwelling Unit with Methane Tanks in Carboniferous Period Setting

This oil portrait of a country house named by its owner "Judge Dee" is a bit sketchy in areas, but left so by the artist deliberately, as they wanted to free themself from the shackles that the demon of perfectionism imposes on so many struggling artists. Since the client in this case was fictitious and identical with the contractor, it was easy to reach mutual satisfaction and declare the painting an artistic, if not commercial, success.  Low Density Dwelling Unit "Judge Dee", 47 x 34 cm, Oil on canvas-mounted wood panel in the tradition of Dix on OSSA Note that this painting is the result of a process of emigration to the essentially free and unbound realms of Poe's Nothingness, even though it assumes topicality by incorporating and putting forward climate-saving technology. It deals with the problems with climate unfriendly methane plaguing our wasteful society. Methane here takes the form of "clean", renewable cooking gas produced by the bacterial...
